WA-4B and WA-6B are made of 4% and 6% agarose respectively after emulsification, rinsing and sieving, and are used for the separation and purification or detection of biological macromolecules such as polysaccharides, nucleic acids, viruses, etc. The structural formula of the gels of WA-4B and WA-6B is fixed by hydrogen bonding, which makes the substrate softer, with poor resistance to pressure, and also cannot be sterilized by autoclaving.
